YWSF supported the Chehalem Valley Watershed Project in in raising $4,900! Some of these funds were used for the Newberg High School forest restoration project, including building a new bridge to replace a culvert and buying native plants
188 students joined Outdoor Education Adventures, volunteers, and partner agencies for seven full-day field trips on the Nestucca River. Middle and high school students participated in activities to study aquatic macro-invertebrates, salmon biology, water quality, and the importance of riparian zones.
